EcoBridge

We empower you and your farm with the support of EcoBridge. We’re also dedicated to helping women, and smallholder farmers, especially from marginalized and underserved communities, adapt to the changing climate.

Eco Career

 The Eco Career Academy) contributes to a more equitable world by addressing pressing environmental challenges while empowering diverse communities, particularly marginalized groups such as women, youths, and LGBTQ+ individuals registered in our Climate-Smart network.

Meet Dekhay's Envo Team

Executive Director

Kingsley Kalu brings over 5 years of experience in climate adaptation, gender equity, and social justice advocacy. As the Executive Director, Climate Adaptation Specialist and Project Lead/Initiator at DeKhay’s Envo in Abia, Cross River, & Lagos, Kingsley collaborates with smallholder farmers to implement climate-smart strategies, conducts capacity-building workshops, and advocates for sustainable practices. 
 
Recognized as an EVWA Changemaker in 2023 by the Ban Ki-Moon Center, a 2024 Rise Up and Mandela Washington Fellow, Kingsley’s work extends to elevating the voices of marginalized women in agriculture and creating inclusive networks like the Climate Smart Network consisting of People with Disabilities, People living with HIV, and LGBTQI youths and women.
 
As a passionate advocate for social justice and climate action, Kingsley is committed to driving positive change and making a lasting impact. Kingsley holds a BSc in Human Anatomy from the University of Calabar and currently pursuing an MSc in International Public Health from LJMU.

Projects Coordinator

N. V. (He/They) brings a wealth of experience in project management to DeKhay’s Envo. He is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our various initiatives, ensuring they meet community needs and deliver measurable impact. He creates a collaborative environment and works closely with all team members to ensure project success.

Projects Officer

M. U. (She/Her) is a dynamic young individual with a strong background in gender equity sustainable agriculture, water resource management. She plays a vital role in supporting the Projects Coordinator, assisting with project development, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to best practices. She is also passionate about capacity building and works closely with community members to ensure the long-term sustainability of our programs.

Community Engagement and Vibes Officer

C. S. (They/Them) serves as the bridge between DeKhay’s Envo and the communities we serve. They are a skilled communicator with a deep understanding of local needs and challenges. They lead community outreach efforts, build trust and collaboration, and ensures that our programs are culturally appropriate and address the most pressing concerns of community members. They also empowers youth leaders within the community, enabling them to take ownership and advocate for positive change.

This dedicated team, along with a network of passionate volunteers and advisors, works tirelessly to build a more sustainable future for all.
